high performance trucking company.
The Company's History. In October 1987 TransAm Trucking, based in Kansas City, Missouri moved its first full load of freight
from somewhere in the midwest to the East Coast. Originally, the company began operations as a refrigerated truckload carrier with 68 trators and
105 refrigerated trailers or reefers. In 1990 the company outgrew the office and shop facility in Missouri and moved across the state line to
Olathe, Kansas.
A solid, documented history of success. In 1998, Trans Am was on the move again. This time, Trans am moved 2 blocks away to a
brand new office and shop facility located on 40 acres of land. In 2001, Trans Am trucking added a dedicated fleet which now operates over 100
power units and in 2005 TransAm expanded to the Dallas, TX area opening a new terminal and adding an additional 250 power units. With this type
